The Sierra Leone Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Mohamed Sillah Kargbo on Thursday 25th January accompanied Saudi Arabia Investors to the office of the Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA) at Tower Hill in Freetown. The courtesy visit was to inform SLIEPA about their interest in investing in different sectors including mining, sea and airports, highways, trade and agriculture.
The investors assured that they were ready to offer mutual benefit for government and people of Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone continues to attract more investors even as the country moves towards its electioneering process in March this year.
In his welcome address, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SLIEPA, Dylan Sogie-Thomas informed the team that SLIEPA is the agency that is responsible for the facilitation of all investments and investors into Sierra Leone. He encouraged them to also invest in other sectors such technology, water and energy. The CEO used the opportunity to ask them to register their business and work with other advisory bodies including the Cooperate Affairs Commission.
